Final Layout Artist - Remote

Overview

DreamWorks Animation is looking for a Final Layout Artist who will take camera shots from RLO, install animatable characters and final sets, and resolve any issues that arise, contributing to the production of high-quality animated films and series.

In Short

• Take camera shots from RLO and install characters and final sets.
• Setup shots by harvesting camera data and staging character rigs.
• Set dress shots based on artwork, collaborating with Art Directors.
• Support camera framing, movement, and timing through character animation.
• Perform basic prop animation.

Requirements

• Strong spatial perception in 3D space.
• Knowledge of camera composition and movement.
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with Unix operating systems.
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, CA.
• Must provide a reel/portfolio of work examples.
