Senior Accountant - Remote

NavSav is looking for a senior accountant to join our rapidly growing independent insurance agency. We currently have 75+ locations in multiple states and will continue to expand. In Short

• Prepare and complete month-end close related tasks including reconciliations and variance analysis
• Assist with annual audit and tax filings
• Communicate with leadership on any variances or issues
• Assist with other accounting for ASC 606, ASC 842, and business combinations
• Contribute to system and process improvement in key accounting areas
• Ad hoc report creation
• Work cross functionally to complete tasks
• Other tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements

• CPA license preferred
• Bachelor's or masters degree in accounting or finance required
• 3-5 years accounting experience with public accounting preferred
• Insurance industry specific experience not required
• Advanced MS Excel skills including XLookup/VLookup, sumif, and pivot tables
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
