NCYL seeks applicants for law school-sponsored fellowships to work on impact litigation addressing the harms of federal policies and actions and advancing core civil rights protections in the states, with a focus on students’ civil rights, the rights of LGBTQ+ youth, youth justice, youth healthcare access, and the rights of immigrant youth.
The National Center for Youth Law (NCYL) is dedicated to amplifying youth power and dismantling structural inequities, particularly racism, to create just policies and practices that support young people. Through research, community collaboration, impact litigation, and policy advocacy, NCYL aims to transform the nation's approach to education, health, immigration, foster care, and youth justice. The organization envisions a world where every young person has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their aspirations. NCYL's Communications team plays a crucial role in raising awareness about children's and youth issues, promoting policy changes, and highlighting solutions that improve the lives of youth and families through strategic storytelling and advocacy.
