mxdwn is seeking applicants for positions for breaking news music writers, offering an opportunity to improve writing and reporting skills.

In Short

• This is an unpaid part-time internship position.
• Writers will produce music news content quickly and accurately.
• Two available time slots: 9AM PST – 3PM PST and 3PM PST – 9PM PST.
• Each writer will take 4-5 shifts per week.
• Writers must publish articles within 15-20 minutes of receiving instructions.
• Adaptability and improvisation are key due to the fluid nature of breaking news.
• Strong writing background is preferred, but not required.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Opportunity to work under pressure and improve skills.
