Overview

The ElectroMechanic position at Sonoco involves maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment to ensure high reliability and minimal downtime in a manufacturing environment.

In Short

• Perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
• Follow safety policies and procedures diligently.

• Install and troubleshoot AC and DC drives/motors.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Strong hands-on injection molding processing skills.
• Experience with machines and tooling maintenance.
• Knowledge of robotics and auxiliary equipment is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with safety standards and PPE.
• Ability to perform repetitive duties and stand for long periods.
• Must supply and maintain own tools.
