• Position: Associate Design Engineer
• Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days/week in the office in Torrance, CA
• Develop, integrate, and verify complex hydraulic and electromechanical control systems
• Create and communicate design requirements
• Support Verification and Validation approaches
• Develop test plans and procedures for requirements verification
• Drive successful real-time system model integration
• Create test scripts for automated testing
• Travel 5-15% to other Moog sites and customer sites
• Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 Annually

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Internship or hands-on experience in design/development engineering
• Mechanical knowledge in a hands-on environment
• Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
• Knowledge of aircraft flight control systems is a plus
• Experience with Siemens NX software is a plus
• Broad background in design analysis including stress analysis, kinematics, and fluid mechanics
