Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer 2 at Modernizing Medicine you will drive efforts to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

In Short

• Architect and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and services.
• Implement and refine observability and monitoring solutions using DataDog.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline development with Jenkins.
• Drive containerization and orchestration of applications using Kubernetes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance in AWS.
• Design and manage disaster recovery and backup strategies on AWS.
• Provide expert troubleshooting across various platforms and applications.
• Ensure adherence to AWS security standards and compliance.
• Keep abreast of new cloud technologies and trends.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar role.
• Strong expertise in managing cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting languages.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, notably Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of networking and cloud security best practices.
• Demonstrated commitment to implementing site reliability principles.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
