The MLB Voices Fellowship Program is designed to develop and grow the next generation of play-by-play talent in baseball, focusing on elevating diverse voices within the game.

In Short

• 10-month commitment from February 3rd to November 16th, 2025.
• Hands-on opportunities to call play-by-play for select MLB events.
• Mentorship from experienced voices in the baseball broadcasting industry.
• Participants will receive copies of high-level television broadcast tape.
• Networking opportunities at MLB events like the Baseball Winter Meetings.
• Shadowing opportunities during key events such as All-Star Week.
• Training sessions featuring guest speakers on various broadcasting topics.
• Final demo turnover before Baseball Winter Meetings.
• Introduction to MiLB Clubs.
• Preference for Black Play by Play Grant Fellows or MLB Develops alumni.

Requirements

• College graduate.
• Interest in pursuing a career in broadcasting.
• Consent to MLB waivers, releases, and background check.
