Overview

MHTN Architects is seeking a licensed Project Architect with a passion for educational projects in the Kindergarten, Elementary, and Secondary school (K-12) spaces. If you excel at guiding projects through all phases of the design process and collaborating to ensure exceptional quality and service, we want to hear from you!

In Short

  • Solve design problems and present innovative solutions by collaborating with architectural experts, landscape architects, interior designers, and planners.
  • Promote socially and environmentally responsible design practices through respectful and informed discussions with clients.
  • Make informed decisions in evaluation, selection, and use of standard architectural techniques while working within budget and schedule to meet project scope and deadlines.
  • Set an example for excellent communication by clearly presenting well-organized information to team members and clients.
  • Organize project and document production in collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders regionally and within Utah’s passionate community of educators.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe, and communication systems like Microsoft Teams.
  • Mastery of building and accessibility codes and regulatory standards.
  • Firm understanding of engineering systems, equipment, technology requirements, and detailing as they relate to construction.
  • Licensed architect with a solid foundation of knowledge in architecture and a passion for educational projects.
