Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Remote

In Short

• Conduct live and interactive clinical assessments of patients.
• Provide treatment protocols and medication management.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists and psychologists.
• Complete patient notes in Electronic Health Records.
• Provide in-service education at facilities.
• Consult with facility staff on nursing practice.
• Participate in case reviews and consultations.
• Respond to urgent calls from facilities.

Requirements

• Advanced practice nursing degree from an accredited university.
• Valid NP license for the state of practice.
• State-controlled substance license or in process of obtaining it.
• Collaborative agreement with a physician as per state regulations.
• Meet credentialing requirements of MediTelecare.
• Credentialed with Medicare and Medicaid.
• Geriatric and/or psychiatric experience preferred.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Electronic Health Record systems.
