In Short

• Conduct live and interactive clinical assessments of patients.
• Provide treatment protocols, prescribing or recommending behavioral medications.
• Provide behavioral and talk therapy to patients.
• Coordinate care with family members and staff at skilled nursing facilities.
• Work closely with collaborating psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams.
• Complete patient notes in Electronic Health Records system.
• Provide in-service education at facilities.
• Participate in case reviews and consultations.
• Respond to urgent calls from the facility.
• Stay current on telehealth issues and legislation.

Requirements

• Advanced practice nursing degree from an accredited university.
• Valid PMHNP certification.
• Unrestricted license in at least one state where MediTelecare practices.
• DEA certificate.
• Able to meet credentialing requirements of MediTelecare.
• Able to become credentialed with Medicare and Medicaid.
• Geriatric and/or psychiatric experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work on a computer using the Internet and Microsoft Office.
