Remote Internal Medicine Physician - Independent Contractor

Overview

This is a flexible remote opportunity for Board-Certified Internal Medicine physicians to provide expert Utilization Reviews on a contract basis.

• Flexible Independent Contractor (1099) position.
• Requires current unrestricted medical license in Indiana or approval from the IMLC.
• Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
• 1–2 hours of work per week, with potential for more.
• Most reviews take 30–60 minutes to complete.
• No minimum case requirements.
• Covered by MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Strong computer skills required.

Requirements

• MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine.
• Unrestricted Indiana medical license or IMLC approval.
• Strong computer and online navigation skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder required.
