Board-Certified Physicians - Remote Contract

Overview

MRIoA is a national Independent Review Organization, who facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness. We are currently seeking Board-Certified Physicians with a Minnesota state medical license for remote, 1099 contract roles across various specialties.

In Short

• Review Prior Authorizations for treatment by applying nationally accepted medical and healthcare plan guidelines.
• Provide expert, unbiased assessments while ensuring compliance with ERISA/DOL and state regulations.
• Flexibility – work as little as 1-2 hours per week.
• Most cases take 30-60 minutes to complete.
• Work remotely from anywhere in the US.
• Covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy.
• Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Must be Board Certified.
• Must have 5 years of patient care experience.
• Must have an unrestricted Minnesota state medical license.
• Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card.
