In today’s digital world, singles are so focused on sending likes and looking through profiles that they’re not actually building meaningful connections and finding relationships. Hinge is on a mission to change that by designing the most effective app experience.

In Short

• Lead external storytelling efforts across Mexico and Brazil.
• Execute PR strategies to support Hinge’s launch in LATAM.
• Shape and adapt earned media narratives reflecting local dating culture.
• Build relationships with key media across lifestyle and tech sectors.
• Prepare briefing materials for media engagements.
• Monitor cultural and media trends to inform PR strategy.
• Draft press releases and other PR materials in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Field and respond to LATAM press inquiries.
• Oversee LATAM agency activities and reporting.
• Provide insights into LATAM dating culture and regulatory environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in public relations or communications.
• Deep understanding of cultural nuances in LATAM.
• Strong editorial instincts for compelling storytelling.
• Demonstrated success in media relations in Mexico and/or Brazil.
• Exceptional writing skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Digitally aware and engaged with emerging platforms.
• Collaborative and responsive communicator.
• Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Curious about trends and data-informed storytelling.
