Lead Auditor - Consumer Banking - Remote

Overview

The Lead Auditor for Consumer Banking is responsible for leading and executing audits, overseeing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

In Short

• Lead and execute audits across assigned domains.
• Oversee annual risk assessments and continuous auditing.
• Communicate findings to Bank management.
• Utilize modernized assurance methodologies.
• Write clear audit findings identifying risks.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and management.
• Incorporate data analytics into audit activities.
• Coach and develop Auditors and new hires.
• Ensure compliance with risk and regulatory standards.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Leadership experience of at least 1 year.
• Experience with internal audit methodology.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience presenting complex findings to management.
• Preferred certifications: CIA, CPA, CISA, etc.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.
• Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
