• Seeking an Internal Auditor for a government contract.
• Work hybrid remote/on-site in Tysons or Arlington, VA.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Review general ledger entries for compliance with federal financial guidance.
• Conduct federal accounting analysis and develop remediation actions.
• Assist in developing risk assessments over revenue accruals.
• Ensure compliance with federal financial accounting regulations.
• Strong analytical skills required for financial analyses.
• Collaborate with project teams and provide feedback on compliance findings.
• Communicate complex financial concepts effectively.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with 4+ years in federal.
• Master’s degree required.
• Certification in CPA, CIA, CISA, CGFM, CDFM, PMP, SAFe, or ITIL.
• Understanding of federal financial accounting standards.
• Ability to perform detailed financial analyses and risk assessments.
• Experience in developing financial accounting white papers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and provide clear feedback.
• Ability to articulate technical information clearly.
