Midweight DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Midweight DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with engineers to deploy, operate, and enhance the global digital infrastructure, while also assisting in the transition away from GCP.

• Work with a team to manage and enhance digital infrastructure.
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
• Assist in transitioning away from GCP to alternative solutions.
• Implement observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a global environment.
• Collaborate with development teams on deployment needs.
• Document infrastructure configurations and processes.
• Contribute to open source projects.

Requirements

• Experience with Terraform and GCP.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, especially Gitlab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience in a global production environment.
• Programming or scripting skills are beneficial.
• Knowledge of networking and web protocols is a plus.
• Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL and Postgres is advantageous.
