Overview

The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple Clinical/Ancillary projects, ensuring the successful management and implementation of strategic IT projects within the healthcare sector.

In Short

Manage clinical projects integrating Clinical Operations and IT support.
Utilize IT PMO methodologies for project management.
Oversee project development, schedule, and budget management.
Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
Provide leadership in IT solution implementation.
Assist in project portfolio management and governance.
Prepare and present project status updates to stakeholders.
Continuously improve PMO processes and tools.
Ensure projects meet quality and success requirements.
Mentor and educate team members on PMO practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
8+ years managing complex IT programs in healthcare.
5+ years of Cerner experience or knowledge.
5+ years in new project implementations.
5+ years of project management experience.
