Lead 3D Artist (Contract) - Remote

Overview

PRELOADED is seeking a Lead 3D Artist to create and maintain the visual style and quality of all 3D assets for an immersive VR experience. Working directly with the Art Director, you'll own the 3D pipeline and asset creation process, bringing a compelling VR world to life.

• Define and maintain a cohesive visual style for all 3D assets.
• Create high-quality 3D models and textures for in-engine use.
• Manage the 3D asset pipeline from modeling to integration.
• Ensure proper asset management and organization.
• Collaborate with Technical Art and Development teams.
• Estimate workloads for 3D art tasks with Production and Art Director.

Requirements

• Experience as a 3D Artist in a game environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling, texturing, and shading skills.
• Understanding of topology and asset optimization.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
