Overview

LSG seeks a vice president to lead and advise on high-stakes crisis communications matters. This role works directly with CEOs and senior executives to manage complex, high-visibility situations that affect corporate reputation, leadership credibility, and organizational stability.

  • Serve as a senior advisor to CEOs and executive leadership teams during crisis situations.
  • Lead crisis response efforts related to litigation, regulatory, and workplace incidents.
  • Develop crisis strategies and oversee execution of communication plans.
  • Provide real-time counsel during fast-moving situations.
  • Prepare executives for media interviews and public statements.
  • Manage client teams and mentor early career professionals.
  • Collaborate with public affairs and communications teams.
  • Support crisis preparedness initiatives and post-crisis evaluations.
  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in crisis communications or corporate communications.
  • Experience advising senior executives through complex situations.
  • Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
  • Understanding of political and regulatory environments.
  • Interest in practice development and growth of crisis communications.
