Overview

The Account Advisor I position is focused on providing excellent customer service by handling inquiries from members and providers, promoting a positive company image, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In Short

  • Serve as the first point of contact for members and providers.
  • Handle incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Resolve benefit and claims inquiries via telephone.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of customer service or medical office experience required.
  • Completion of relevant medical training can substitute for experience.
  • Previous call center experience preferred.
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness.
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail are essential.
  • Must have a reliable internet connection.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
