Join the Localyze Finance team and help us build a borderless world. As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our financial operations are seamless and efficient. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you'll be responsible for implementing best financial practices, managing diverse entities, and maintaining our accounting systems. Your mission is to deliver precise and timely financial reporting, enabling strategic decision-making for the business. In Short

• Overseeing all accounting operations
• Issuing invoices and credit notes
• Reconciling incoming payments
• Managing invoice processing through to payment
• Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end closing activities
• Performing ad-hoc financial tasks
• Supporting automation of financial processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role at a startup
• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree
• Experience with monthly management accounts and statutory reporting
• Inter-company experience
• Previous billing experience and knowledge of VAT regulations
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
