Part-Time Accountant/Tax Specialist (Remote)

Overview

We are an IoT startup from Düsseldorf seeking support to drive our growth. You will assist our CFO with accounting tasks, particularly managing incoming and outgoing invoices. During your onboarding, you will gradually take on responsibility for your area and develop it further.

In Short

• Creation and dispatch of outgoing invoices
• Debt collection management
• Responsibility for invoice verification and processing, as well as payment planning and execution
• Preparation of bookkeeping and communication with our external tax office
• Management of travel expenses
• Process documentation
• Proactive suggestions for automation improvements

Requirements

• Completed training/continuing education as a tax specialist or equivalent qualification
• Initial professional experience in your field
• Independent and proactive work style
• Very good Excel skills
• Experience with Datev (Companies Online)
• Ideally, English language skills
