Overview

The Senior Tax Manager at Lindquist, von Husen & Joyce LLP is responsible for managing tax engagements, supervising staff, and providing exceptional client service while ensuring compliance with tax laws.

In Short

• Manage and supervise tax staff on various engagements.
• Review complex tax returns prepared by team members.
• Provide performance feedback and mentorship to staff.

• Consult with clients on tax planning and law changes.
• Manage financial performance and risk of engagements.
• Ensure quality and workflow management.
• Minimum of 8 years of tax experience required.
• Current CPA license is mandatory.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits is a plus.

Requirements

• 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in staff supervision.
• Current CPA license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements.
