Overview

The Supervising Attorney will lead the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) of the CCHEA team, overseeing legal and advocacy work while ensuring quality and competency in case management.

In Short

  • Lead and oversee the BHU team.
  • Train and supervise staff attorneys and interns.
  • Review BHU case work and provide legal advice.
  • Assist in grant management and reporting.

Requirements

  • Must be a member of the California Bar.
  • Three years of legal experience, two in public interest law.
  • Knowledge of Behavioral Health system and laws.
  • Strong supervisory and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and evaluate performance.
  • Willingness to travel within San Diego County.
  • Experience in training and mentorship.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred.
  • Commitment to serving low-income communities.
