Senior Frontend Architect - Remote

Overview

QuillBot is seeking a Senior Frontend Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable web applications, ensuring high performance and resilience while collaborating with engineering teams on innovative solutions.

In Short

• Own the overall application architecture and ensure high scalability and resilience.
• Work with Engineering teams to ensure optimum solution design for new features.
• Lead projects and execute them with junior engineers.
• Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption.
• Understand and contribute to the product roadmap.
• Collaborate on POCs for new technological inclusions.
• Benchmark technology options for architectural decisions.
• Coordinate and work with cross-team functions.
• Produce high-quality, performant code.
• Explore the domain of AI/ML.

Requirements

• 6+ years of strong hands-on development experience on web technologies.
• 3+ years of experience in designing architecture.
• Strong expertise in Frontend Technologies such as TypeScript and React.
• Experience leading projects with 2–3 engineers.
• Understanding of micro-frontend and module bundlers is a plus.
• Exposure to high-scale production applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of design patterns and their applications.
• Good hold on Cloud Architecture (GCP/AWS) is a plus.
