Site Reliability Engineer - AWS Cloud & DevOps - Remote

Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer – AWS Cloud & DevOps, you’ll play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure.

In Short

• Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for deployment automation.
• Build packaging pipelines using tools like Maven or npm (desirable).
• Automate workflows using Shell and Groovy (required), with Python or PowerShell (desirable).
• Manage and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux or BSD systems in production environments.
• Ensure robust cloud security using best practices (SSL/TLS, KMS, IAM, WAF).
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
• Maintain and scale AWS services including Lambda, CloudFront, EC2, ECS, API Gateway, S3, and OpenSearch.
• Manage network configurations including TCP/IP, Route Tables, VPCs, Route 53, and Security Groups.
• Administer databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, DynamoDB, and optionally Firestore.
• Support Docker-based environments and manage container orchestration with AWS ECS (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Operate and support tools like SonarQube, Nexus, and Dependency Track.

Requirements

• Strong DevOps fundamentals and hands-on cloud experience.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux or BSD systems.
• Knowledge of container orchestration and Docker.
