Systems Administrator - Remote

Overview

This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with above average white glove customer service and technical skills, supporting a team in a Mac and Cloud Service supported environment.

In Short

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding for MacOS users.
• Respond to customer requests for assistance related to hardware and software.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot MacBooks remotely and onsite.
• Collaborate with security teams for continuous monitoring of MacBooks.
• Manage user access across different software systems.
• Administer Help Desk software and perform regular audits.
• Develop and implement a disaster recovery plan for MacOS devices.
• Coordinate IT projects and support for Mac-based systems.
• Manage updates and patches for MacOS and installed software.
• Work with multiple platforms of technology.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of IT experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with IT Service Management ticketing (e.g., Jira).
• Strong knowledge of MacOS and Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to solve complex problems with detailed troubleshooting.
• General working knowledge of basic networking.
• Hands-on experience with device management software like Jamf.
• Ability to manage IT projects and coordinate upgrades.
• Preferred certifications: ACSP, ACMT, ITIL 4 Foundation, CompTIA A+.
