In Short

• Help design and implement the offboard L3 map store and map build pipeline to ingest collected map data.
• Apply updates to highway maps based on the needs for expansion or detected changes.
• Develop rigorous software products within various software programs such as C++, Python, and Java.
• Collect map data while working on storage systems.
• Be responsible for fusing and mining data while integrating into a cloud-based service.
• Utilize complex software in resolving issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs and define requirements and interfaces.

Requirements

• Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, robotics or a related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered; or 2 years of experience performing web application design and development in Java, Python, and C++.
• Also requires 2 years of experience: designing and building scalable end to end automated testing infrastructure and solutions; and debugging large scale systems.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and experience or graduate level coursework as stated.
• Also, requires experience or graduate-level coursework: designing scalable solutions for big-data storage and retrieval, development and visualization of business-critical metrics.
