In Short

Help design and implement the offboard L3 map store and map build pipeline to ingest collected map data.
Apply updates to highway maps based on the needs for expansion or detected changes.
Develop rigorous software products within various software programs such as C++, Python, and Java.
Collect map data while working on storage systems.
Be responsible for fusing and mining data while integrating into a cloud-based service.
Utilize complex software in resolving issues that may arise.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs and define requirements and interfaces.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, robotics or a related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered; or 2 years of experience performing web application design and development in Java, Python, and C++.
Also requires 2 years of experience: designing and building scalable end to end automated testing infrastructure and solutions; and debugging large scale systems.
In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and experience or graduate level coursework as stated.
Also, requires experience or graduate-level coursework: designing scalable solutions for big-data storage and retrieval, development and visualization of business-critical metrics.
