Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Accountant at L&S, you will perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization, contributing to financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

In Short

• Perform month-end close and prepare journal entries.
• Conduct account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with financial audits and reporting.
• Analyze inventory and P&L for accuracy.
• Provide management reporting and insights.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Utilize strong Excel skills for data analysis.
• Work independently and manage time effectively.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Engage in acquisition integration related to financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience with GAAP Accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation.
• High tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL.
• CPA license is a plus.
• Ability to work both remotely and in an office.
• Experience with Great Plains accounting software is preferred.
