Head of Reporting & Technical Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Head of Reporting and Technical Accounting will be an integral part of the Finance team, leading a high-performing group focused on regulatory and financial reporting, M&A, and technical accounting.

In Short

• Lead a team in regulatory and financial reporting, M&A, and technical accounting.
• Evaluate US GAAP pronouncements and oversee technical research.
• Build relationships with external auditors and advisors.
• Manage preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Oversee SEC filings including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and S-1s.
• Establish accounting policies in collaboration with finance teams.
• Review financial statements for compliance and consistency.
• Draft technical accounting memos and policies.
• Maintain financial reporting processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; active CPA required.
• 10+ years of accounting or audit experience, with 5 years in SEC reporting.
• Background in financial services or fintech.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity.
• Proficient with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
• Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
