Overview

The Customer Trainer at Konecranes Training Institute plays a key role in delivering training to customers on crane operation and maintenance, both in classroom and hands-on settings.

In Short

  • Deliver classroom-based and hands-on training sessions.
  • Conduct webinar training sessions as needed.
  • Administer assessments to evaluate participant understanding.
  • Update and enhance instructional materials for training.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure training aligns with industry standards.
  • Evaluate and improve the technical training program.
  • Assist with safety training as necessary.
  • Travel required for onsite training sessions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications for documentation.
  • Act as a resource for technical questions from the field.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with overhead and/or mobile cranes.
  • Experience as a technical trainer or similar role.
  • Trade school degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Current certification in Mobile Crane operation is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with motor and drive systems.
  • Ability to maintain mechanical components effectively.
