Assistant Editor - Remote

Overview

The Assistant Editor will support the expanding New York post-production division at Known Studios, facilitating creative and efficient production for a diverse client base while managing workflows between in-office and remote editors.

• Support the editorial team by preparing footage and project files.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in post-production or related fields.
• NY-based with a hybrid work schedule.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere and familiar with Davinci Resolve.
• Experience with various editing formats and setups.
• Strong understanding of remote editing platforms.
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in developing new processes in a growing team.
• Comfortable with Mac and PC environments.
