Kennedy Lenart IP LLP is seeking a Junior Patent Associate (1–3 years preferred) with a strong technical background in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a closely related discipline to join our growing intellectual property practice.
This is not a “plug-and-play” role. It is an opportunity to build a career intentionally.
If you’re looking to move beyond rigid law firm structures, take ownership of your work, and grow alongside a firm that is actively shaping how technology and AI integrate into legal practice, this role is designed for you.
We invest in our attorneys because their development drives the firm’s success. You will build your skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and direct client engagement, with the expectation that you grow into a highly effective and confident practitioner.
You do not need to check every box to be a strong candidate. If you believe you have the potential to excel in this environment, we want to hear from you.
Kennedy Lenart IP LLP is a forward-thinking intellectual property law firm that specializes in patent law, particularly in the fields of electrical engineering, computing, and related technologies. The firm is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and innovative environment where attorneys can take ownership of their work and grow their careers intentionally. With a focus on integrating technology and AI into legal practice, Kennedy Lenart IP LLP offers a unique opportunity for legal professionals to develop their skills through hands-on experience and mentorship. The firm values individual contributions and provides flexible compensation structures, comprehensive benefits, and a commitment to professional development.
