Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst (L2) at Keen Decision Systems is responsible for manually testing newly developed code to ensure quality and functionality before deployment.

In Short

• Manually test newly developed code against acceptance criteria.
• Communicate bugs and determine readiness for production.
• Work within Scrum cycles and utilize JIRA for project management.
• Identify functional, UX, and cosmetic bugs during testing.
• Review automated test failures and create bug tickets as necessary.
• Own deployments and manage the promotion of code to production.
• Participate in retrospectives for continuous team improvement.

Requirements

• 2+ years in QA and Support roles in software development.
• Experience with Scrum project workflows.
• Familiarity with frontend and backend testing.
• Proficient in API testing tools like BurpSuite/PostMan.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
