Overview

As a Platform Engineer, you will be instrumental in modernizing our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring a seamless developer experience while enforcing best practices for security, compliance, and scalability.

In Short

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS ECS-based containerized workloads.
• Build self-service infrastructure platforms with Backstage.
• Implement best practices for observability, security, and reliability.
• Develop and manage GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD.
• Automate server and container configurations using Ansible.
• Embed security and compliance controls into infrastructure workflows.
• Implement observability solutions for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Support production environments through proactive incident resolution.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, security, and DevOps teams.
• Ensure auditability and traceability in infrastructure changes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AWS ECS-based containerized environments.
• Deep expertise in Terraform and policy-as-code tools.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Strong knowledge of Backstage.io and Ansible.
• Self-service and everything-as-code mindset.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring solutions like CloudWatch.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance and scaling issues.
• Nice to have: Experience with service mesh technologies.
• Familiarity with FinOps and cost optimization in AWS.
