Overview

The Sponsored Projects Specialist (SPS) will act as the primary contact for reviewing proposals, awards, and subawards, ensuring efficient processing through established workflows.

• Review and ensure completeness of proposal and agreement-related documentation.
• Verify compliance with processes and maintain organized files for review.
• Assess policies and regulations to determine necessary reviews or approvals.
• Maintain negotiation tracking information in relevant systems.

• Understand conflict of interest processes impacting proposals.
• Compose correspondence regarding negotiation statuses to stakeholders.
• Respond to inquiries about sponsored project rules and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current on procedures and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of related administrative experience.
• Additional education or experience may substitute as permitted.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
