Overview

The Cybersecurity Operations Consultant will assist in delivering Cybersecurity Operations services and projects aligned with the strategy of UN Partner Organisation, requiring both technical knowledge and the ability to communicate security topics to non-technical audiences.

In Short

• Investigate security alerts and anomalies using Google’s security tools.
• Collaborate on architecture changes and implement new solutions in Google Environment.
• Develop detection use cases for real-time threat detection.
• Maintain automation playbooks using Google Cloud Functions and SOAR.
• Support security risk assessments and audits for Cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
• Manage vulnerabilities using security tools like Qualys and Crowdstrike.
• Monitor and act on security operations activities.
• Integrate Google Cloud security with other security controls.
• Work closely with diverse teams to enhance cybersecurity posture.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years in IT with experience in incident response in Google Cloud.
• Experience in security architecture and controls in Google Cloud.
• First university degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related area.
• Expert knowledge of English.
