Warehouse Specialist (Advanced Shipping & Receiving Clerk) - Remote

Overview

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist at JLL, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by coordinating the flow of materials, equipment, and samples throughout our facility, ensuring proper handling of goods and maintaining accurate documentation.

In Short

• Coordinate receiving and distribution of incoming materials, equipment, and samples.
• Load/unload trucks and manage packages.
• Prepare shipments according to regulations and complete necessary documentation.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
• Perform clerical duties including posting records and preparing reports.
• Adapt to changing priorities to meet workflow demands.
• Follow detailed instructions and adhere to policies/procedures.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Requirements

• Experience in shipping, receiving, and transportation logistics.
• Valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to handle cartons and drums.
• Proficiency with computers and related shipping/inventory systems.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to accommodate overtime when required.
• Dangerous Goods certification or training preferred.
• Forklift operation experience and certification preferred.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and documentation requirements preferred.
