Facilities Maintenance Technician (Temporary) - Remote

Overview

Join JLL as a Facilities Maintenance Technician and support maintenance management within client facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

In Short

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on transportation equipment.
• Maintain and repair distribution center shelving.
• Complete maintenance documentation and procedures.
• Manage inventory and spare parts tracking.
• Troubleshoot basic robotics and robotic work cells.
• Resolve electrical and mechanical issues in material handling equipment.
• Assist in mentoring junior technicians.
• Support basic electronics and PLC troubleshooting.
• Work on-site in Tepotzotlán, Mexico.
• Availability to work rotating shifts (12 hours, 4 days a week).

Requirements

• Degree in Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6 years of experience in relevant fields.
• Knowledge of HVAC, fire protection systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS.
• Strong mechanical or electrical background.
• Understanding of safety standards for material handling equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot motors and sensors.
• Experience in mentoring and training technicians.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and PLCs.
