In Short

• Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation control systems.
• Focus on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Responsibilities include training and mentoring Automation Apprentices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot control systems and machinery.
• Work closely with client teams for system optimization.
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with maintenance for performance issues.
• Facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis and implement improvements.
• Communicate technical issues and project timelines effectively.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Drive continuous improvement projects for cost savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with PLC-controlled automation.
• Experience with robotics work cells and control systems.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Problem-solving mindset for debugging systems.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Adaptability and continuous learning to keep up with industry trends.
• Experience in a team lead capacity is preferred.
