Regional Lead - Forensic Structural Engineering - Remote

Overview

J.S. Held is seeking a senior-level Civil/Structural Engineer to provide technical and operational leadership within our Forensic Architecture and Engineering practice group.

In Short

• Lead a local team of forensic experts and engineers.
• Provide operational management and technical guidance.
• Monitor team performance metrics.
• Delegate assignments based on team members' skillsets.
• Ensure compliance with established guidelines.
• Assist with P&L performance and compensation reviews.
• Conduct research and develop technical topics for publication.
• Prepare detailed reports on observations and tests.
• Engage in forensic investigations and expert witness services.
• Encourage active involvement in professional associations.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
• PE or SE license required.
• 10 years minimum engineering experience, including 5 years forensic experience.
• Strong leadership and business skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expert witness experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
