Overview

The Plant Controller/Finance Manager at the Skara Plant is responsible for driving financial performance and supporting the plant's strategic goals through effective financial management and leadership.

In Short

• Business partner to the Plant General Manager focusing on EBITDA and cash flow.
• Full finance responsibility for the plant's income statement and balance sheet.
• Leadership of the finance team with a focus on training and development.
• Active involvement in operational and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with corporate standards.
• Conduct variance analysis and profitability assessments.
• Monitor key performance metrics and provide financial insights.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Participate in capital investment appraisals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years in a finance leadership position.
• Proven track record of implementing financial processes.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
• Ability to work under pressure and engage with cross-functional teams.
• High problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
• Degree qualified is desirable.
