Hospice Physician - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and collaborative Hospice Physician to join our team in Mandeville, LA, working alongside our existing Medical Director. This role is ideal for a physician who is passionate about dignified, person-centered care and wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and families.

In Short

• Provide medical oversight for hospice patients in various settings.
• Certify terminal illness and ensure documentation compliance.

Requirements

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license.
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care experience preferred.
• Commitment to collaboration within the IDG.
• Willingness to take on-call rotation.
• Availability for in-person IDG meetings every other week.
• Ability to complete verbal certifications and clinical orders.
• Interest in provider education and patient-centered referrals.
• Excellent clinical judgment.
• Strong communication skills.
