Information Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join our team remotely in the United States. In this critical role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect our organization's information assets and infrastructure.

In Short

• Support the development, communication, and global implementation of secure design principles and security standards
• Provide expert support to product and development teams on application security challenges
• Support implementation and optimization of application vulnerability testing tools
• Support security incident response efforts and perform root cause analysis
• Proactively identify systemic security issues and drive process improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture and engineering leadership
• Serve as escalation point for security emergencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in information security
• Advanced expertise in threat modeling methodologies
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD-integrated security testing pipelines
• Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
• Entry-level proficiency in multiple programming/scripting languages
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud security architecture
• Core understanding of secure design principles and emerging attack vectors
• Proven experience in working with distributed development teams
• Experience with security frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements
