Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Bid Writer to join our team in Perth, WA, to manage the bid process for new road projects and support our business growth.

• Coordinate and manage the bid process from start to finish.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather information for bid proposals.
• Conduct market research to identify potential bid opportunities.
• Maintain and update the bid database and files.
• Prepare and review bid documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs.
• Coordinate and participate in bid meetings and presentations.
• Monitor and track bid progress with regular updates to management.
• Assist in developing bid strategies to increase success rates.
• Support the team in other business development activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in bid writing or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the bid process in the construction industry.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management software.
• Knowledge of the Western Australian roads industry preferred.
