Junior Front-End Developer - Remote

Overview

The Junior Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining our company's web applications, as well as working with the IT department and our external web partner to design and implement new features.

In Short

• Working with internal clients to develop the overall look and feel of all ministry websites.
• Create and maintain website code using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS (TailwindCSS), and JavaScript.
• Producing, maintaining, and modifying websites and user interfaces.
• Incorporating applications, graphics, audio, and video clips into ministry websites.
• Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience.
• Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones.
• Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors.
• Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise.
• Other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Associates Degree (Bachelors Degree preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.
• High level of initiative and proactive approach to work.
• Willingness to adapt and be flexible.
• Ability to perform job duties on time with excellence.
• Desire to spread the gospel and build disciples.
• Attend at least one industry-related conference.
• Complete assigned readings and attend team meetings.
• LinkedIn Learning and other external training opportunities as needed.
