Overview

Walnut Creek Soccer Club is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our financial transactions. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health and sustainability of our club, allowing us to continue providing valuable services to our community.

In Short

• Record, document and categorize transactions to maintain financial records.
• Process invoices and payments, manage accounts receivable.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payroll for staff and coaches.
• Generate financial statements and assist in budget preparation.
• Support team banking and conduct training for team treasurers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
