Production Operator 1 - Remote

Overview

The Production Operator 1 is responsible for preparing process-based flavor batches in the Spray Dry department, ensuring proper packaging and material management according to production schedules.

In Short

• Prepare flavor batches as per shop floor instructions.
• Read and analyze data from spray dryer and other equipment.
• Ensure timely backflushing of materials.
• Operate electric and gas sit-down and reach trucks.
• Maintain sanitation and GMP standards in the workspace.
• Participate in cross-training programs.
• Work unsupervised, especially on off-shifts.
• Handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Must have basic math skills and forklift certification.
• Experience in a process manufacturing environment preferred.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in process manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of GMPs and HACCP.
• Familiarity with SAP and Excel.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100 pounds).
• Mechanical knowledge and basic hand tool usage.
• Forklift/Truck Certification.
• Ability to multitask safely.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and audit readiness.
• Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations.
