Director of UX Research - Remote

Overview

Ibis Public Sector is seeking a Director of UX Research to lead an agile research function that supports mission-critical digital products for our client. This is a unique opportunity to shape user experience in a high-impact environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions are intuitive, effective, and human-centered.

In Short

• Develop and execute a UX research strategy tailored to the needs of a smaller, fast-moving team.
• Define and drive the long-term vision and roadmap for UX research.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders to align research goals with business objectives.
• Coordinate multiple research assignments against an executional roadmap.
• Serve as customer advocate by researching and mapping customer needs throughout a customer journey.
• Become a trusted advisor and resource for team and client.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information to formulate valuable observations.
• Identify knowledge gaps and proactively drive research to fill them.
• Ensure research findings are actionable, compelling, and widely communicated.

Requirements

• A US Citizen and possess a Secret Security Clearance (or be eligible to obtain one).
• 12+ years of experience in market research with substantial experience in improving user experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously; detail-oriented with excellent organization skills.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of working within tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates analytical thinking and how to use quantitative research to improve user experience.
• Proven ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to determine the clear, cohesive story in data and present findings effectively.
• Good communication and team interaction skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
